We don’t operate like many shelters — residents aren’t sent out each morning with no guarantee of a bed. On entry, residents meet with a case manager to complete an intake packet, including some medical history and a background check. Because we house families, we cannot admit those with a history of violent or sexual crimes or arson.
Residents enter a 90-day program, with extensions as needed, and meet regularly with a case manager. Each case plan lays out groups, job searching, agency appointments, and an exit strategy — so residents leave with stable housing and lives as active members of the community.
