Jack’s House of Hope is now open.

The House of Hope welcomed guests into the new building almost exactly two years after the ceremonial groundbreaking in May 2024. We are extremely grateful to the hundreds of individuals, civic groups, churches, and foundations that contributed more than $5.5 million to the project.

We continue to accept donations to put the finishing touches on the building and maintain our daily operations.

Honoring Founder Jack Ream

A 20,000 sq. ft. building with approximately 27 private rooms for men and women and four family rooms, plus a chapel, enclosed courtyard, playground, community room, meeting space, and offices. The former shelter will be renovated for Pathway to Wellness, storage, offices, and additional services.

The New Facility Will

  • Serve unhoused men, women and families with a safe, secure, and spirit-enriching environment.
  • Create living space with support, privacy and dignity.
  • Provide community spaces, dining and kitchen areas, a chapel, an enclosed playground and courtyard.
  • Expand our social services to better meet community needs.
  • Significantly improve safety and security.
